A great way to sample just some of those available is to try our “Whiskey Flight Boards”. A term borrowed from the wine community, a tasting flight is a term used to describe a selection of whiskey measures for tasting. At The Anglers we have two different alternatives for you to sample!

Overlooking our beautiful garden, The Snug is away from the main bar behind closed doors for additional privacy. Power points and internet access are available. Ruby red in colour with the aroma of red fruit and cherry. The flavour is semi-dry, soft, caressing, fresh, savoury and fairly. Tannic with a spicy aftertaste.

The bean is made from South Africa’s native Pinotage grape, a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. It is a dark red wine with intense flavours from a voluptuous base formed by silky oak tannins.

Very aromatic, with notes of fruit (pear, banana, pineapple) and hints of hay and fresh grass. In the mouth it is bodied and powerful, with a high acidity.
Piedra de Mar | Albarino
Spain
Predominant on the palate a pleasant acidity that carries a fresh liveliness, typical of a young Albarino.
Chateau de Mirande
Macon-Village
The wine of Mirande has a pale gold colour with hints of green. To the nose, its aroma suggest acacia and citrus fruits. It is a supple, luscious and well fruited wine.
