“Three weeks ago my partner Martin Duggan and I got married here. What a fantastic day we had. The staff ,particularly the manager Peter, Niamh and Vincent, all staff to be honest, made our day so so special.We had the sevice out in the garden,a young member of staff, I didn't get his name went out to brush up and leaves under the tree and turned them into a heart shaped ring to make it more romantic. The service was gorgeous in the sunshine with the river as the backdrop. Just stunning! We had the reception out in the Marquee, a rustic setting. We were having an intimate gathering of fifty close friends & family , we decide on Peter's recommendation to have sharing bowls at the tables, eight different dishes, tastes to suit all palates. They were absolutely delicious , piling hot ...loved by all! Peter and his staff couldnt have done enough for us, we couldnt recommend The Anglers highly enough."

We organized our wedding day at The Anglers and had the most magical day! First the location is fantastic. Ticking all the boxes we were going for : laidback but stylish open, garden party festival style wedding, beautiful outdoors with all then indoor options possible… Then the staff was very supportive and organized. They really helped guide our special day and made us feel at ease for the day. Prior to our big day we met in person numerous times. The staff explained to us in details how the day would pan out.

We had day two of our wedding at The Anglers. From the moment we made the enquiry, Niamh the reservation manager made everything so simple to organise. The team had the marquee set up beautifully for when we arrived and all of the food was delicious. Can’t recommend enough for an event!
